We installed the Orion Van Gear Transit Stealth rack on our Transit a year ago this December and have put it through the paces for over a year. It’s held up beautifully. Zero drag, wind noise or other complications. It’s sleek. It looks nice and it provides another option for assembling and mounting necessary tools for production. We recently added the Side Ladder (as seen in the image above) for ease of use getting up to the roofline. Took it on a work road trip last week and again, it was outstanding. No additional drag or noise, it’s lightweight and sturdy as hell and it only took me and a buddy around 90 minutes to install ourselves.
Our roof rack also has some built in LED rear flood lights which come in super handy when you’re loading or unloading the truck in dim or dark conditions. I highly recommend you add those if you’re doing a roof rack.
